Difference between Quote and Invoice

It’s important to know the difference between these two documents:

Quote: Non-binding document that details a commercial offer before the sale. It has no tax effects and can be accepted or rejected by the client.

Invoice: Mandatory document that certifies a sale that has already been made. It has tax effects, must be declared to the tax authorities and is mandatory for freelancers and companies.
