Air-Fi is a company dedicated to the installation and design of technologies to ensure good Wifi coverage at events with high public density.
In addition to the installation and design of technologies to ensure good Wifi coverage at events with high public density, Air-Fi offers communication solutions so that their clients can communicate through smartphones with event attendees.
A business only 2 years old (founded in 2013) that has exceeded one million euros in accumulated revenue and expects to exceed the one million euro annual billing figure in 2015.
What I like most about FacturaDirecta is its versatility and ease of use. I have all the information in sight, also from my mobile phone.
We went to see them on a sunny Wednesday in January at the Vallès Technology Park, right next to the Autonomous University of Barcelona. The company is located in the Ascamm offices where it shares space with other technology sector projects. A building where you can observe the connection between the development of new technologies and their application in viable companies like Air-Fi.
We were received by Marcel Pujol with whom we talked about his long experience in the sector, the beginnings of his business and the growth of his team. Marcel and his partner Guido Biosca started alone and now have a team of 9 people between technicians and sales staff.
Marcel also told us about his experience with FacturaDirecta, which they have been using from the beginning.
He told us that he has several users created, including one for his accountant. Something that is especially useful for them to not have to visit him often or send him information.
It was a very interesting conversation that allowed us to learn more about such an interesting sector as new technologies applied to business.
Air-Fi has important clients such as Fira de Barcelona, ESADE or IESE and has worked on events such as the XGames or the Barcelona Swimming World Championships.
The company is growing and has incorporated a new sales representative in the Northern Zone based in San Sebastian in addition to Barcelona and Madrid, something that will surely help them achieve their goals for 2015.
