El Genio Equivocado is a small indie music record label in the city of Barcelona.
This 2015 they celebrate 5 summers and have celebrated it in a big way with 3 concerts in Barcelona, Madrid and Seville.
Since their birth as a record label, they have expanded their services to become a 360º service for the bands they work with: from editing their albums to management tasks.
Rafa and Joan received us in their small apartment, near the Sagrera station, one November afternoon after finishing, as they say, “their early morning jobs”.
The moment we set foot in their apartment, we realized that El Genio Equivocado is one of those businesses where you can breathe the passion for their work.
We had a very fun chat while their two cats followed the conversation from the sofa. One of them even added occasional comments with his meows.
In addition to the day-to-day of their business, in such a complicated sector as culture and particularly music, Joan told us about his experience with FacturaDirecta.
In the 3 years we’ve been using FacturaDirecta, we’ve never had to ask for help. Everything is very simple and easy to understand.
Joan also commented that they had tried other invoicing tools before FacturaDirecta, and that none of them convinced them.
It was an enriching visit where music was very present. Joan and Rafa also gifted us with some CDs from their record label after asking about our musical references.
