Electrocat is a company dedicated to industrial electrical installations, energy consulting, maintenance and business advice before inspections.
It’s a young business but with long experience. Ferran founded it in mid-2014 but has been in the sector as a freelancer for more than 15 years. Something that nowadays has a lot, a lot of merit.
We met at the facilities of one of his latest projects. A 3-story garage near the Cornellà de Llobregat train station.
It was a rainy Monday in December, so it was wonderful to take shelter from the rain in the depths of the garage and chat walking among cars and electrical panels.
I spend many hours outside the office. With FacturaDirecta I can make my invoices, estimates,… on the go from my tablet. It’s very convenient.
We talked about his business and the difficulties he has in convincing his clients that energy saving is one of the best investments they can make.
And he commented on how FacturaDirecta has helped him simplify his business. With smiles he confessed that his accountant “is delighted” with the order with which he now keeps his documents.
When we were leaving, Carles (our photographer and a great tool enthusiast) asked him about his tools. And Ferran showed us the survival kit that always travels with him.
It was a very interesting and entertaining chat. And we laughed heartily at some of the anecdotes from his daily life.
Electrocat works mainly in the Barcelona metropolitan area and already has two workers in addition to Ferran. The company is growing and has a more than promising future.
