The new VeriFactu system will be mandatory for all invoicing systems used in Spain. The deadlines are:
• January 1, 2027 for companies
• July 1, 2027 for freelancers
FacturaDirecta Classic will stop working for invoicing after these dates. It will not receive VeriFactu updates and you will not be able to issue valid invoices. Migrating now guarantees legal compliance and peace of mind.
